Smacq provides free-of-charge repair for our products during the warranty. Should any defect happen to our products in warranty during normal use, we will repair or replace the parts for you. We will try to fix the devices for you even if it is out of warranty, although it might incur certain amount of fees.
Smacq provides one year warranty for all our products. For any hardware or software problems caused by product defects, we will provide free repair at our service centers or authorized service sites. If the faulted products is out of warranty, we will provide paid repair.
The product warranty starts from the date of purchase on customer invoice. In the absence of the invoice, we will use one month after the date of manufacture as the start of its warranty.
You can extend the product warranty by one year with 20% of its original price.
For products that will receive free repair, we will repair and ship back the product in 5 working days after its delivery.
Upon receiving the faulty product, we will examine it carefully and clarify the situation with the customer. For products that requires paid repair, we will repair the product in 5 working days, and ship it back after we receive the repair fees or wire transfer proof. If the customer does not want the product to be repaired by us, we will ship the product back after receiving the confirmation fax.
After the repair, should the same fault occur again within 3 months, we will provide free repair regardless of its warranty state.
We will repair or replace the faulty parts, and we will keep the replaced parts. We guarantee all replaced parts are genuine SMACQ parts, although not necessarily brand new, which delivers the same or better performance.
When any malfunction occurs on Smacq products, please give our technical support a call first to determine if it requires a return-to-factory repair.
Should the return-to-factory repair be necessary, please place the devices in their original packages or the packages that can guarantee the transportation safety and ship them to us. The technical support should have provided the shipping address at this point. Contact us if you need help.
Smacq will not provide the free-or-charge repair if any of the followings happens,
1. The product is out of warranty.
2. The product warranty seal is torn or replaced.
3. Accidental damage caused by transportation.
4, Product appearance damage (including burns, deformation caused by shock, etc.).
5, Product failure or damage caused by irresistible factors (such as earthquakes, lightning, floods, fires, etc.)
Shipping cost during repair
The shipping cost incurred by the return-to-factory repair will be covered by both sides, i.e. the customer will cover the cost of shipping the product to us while we cover the cost of shipping it back.
